CEC: Voter Turnout at 15:00 is 31.82%

CEC spokesperson Natia Ioseliani announced the district election commissions held sessions and, in accordance with the law, randomly selected the precincts in each constituency, the results of which should be recounted.

“The recount process will start today at 17:00 in the recount centers and of course we will ensure the publicity of this process and the video recording. The recount process can be attended to and observed by authorized persons: observers, representatives of election subjects, and the media. “We call on them to exercise their rights and responsibilities in accordance with the law, to assist the election administration in conducting the recount process in a calm and constructive environment,” Ioseliani said.

She noted that the processed data, as well as video footage of the ballot counting process, will be available on the CEC official website as soon as possible. Ioseliani added that since the voting in the Krtsanisi constituency was conducted using electronic technology, the recount will not take place.
