71-year-old protester Aza Chilachava released from custody

71-year-old protest participant Aza Chilachava has been released.

Judge Tornike Kochkiani sentenced Chilachava to one day of administrative detention earlier today, thereby satisfying the request of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Chilachava was detained on November 2, and after serving the 24-hour detention period, she was released.

Ministry of Internal Affairs says Aza Chilachava was charged with “artificially blocking a road.”
