Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has signed a law on a landmark minerals agreement with the United States. It was the final step in its formal adoption after ratification by the Verkhovna Rada.
The deal leads the way for deeper cooperation on critical mineral resources, essential to both countries’ strategic interests. Following Zelensky’s approval, two additional agreements will be signed between Washington and Kyiv to define technical details and parameters for the creation of a joint investment fund.
These upcoming agreements are expected to clarify how the fund will operate and the mechanisms for shared investments in Ukraine’s mineral sector.
