Georgian Railway has reported that due to severe weather conditions, multiple train routes will be canceled on February 26, 27, and 28. The decision comes as heavy snowfall continues to disrupt transportation across the country.

As the company disclosed, affected routes include major connections between Tbilisi, Batumi, Zugdidi, Poti, Borjomi, Ozurgeti, and Kutaisi. Trains will resume operation once weather conditions improve.

Cancelled Routes:

February 26:

  • Tbilisi-Batumi (#804)
  • Batumi-Tbilisi (#801)
  • Zugdidi-Tbilisi (#869)
  • Tbilisi-Poti (#874)
  • Borjomi-Tbilisi (#617)
  • Tbilisi-Borjomi (#686)

February 27-28:

  • Tbilisi-Ozurgeti (#854)
  • Ozurgeti-Tbilisi (#853)
  • Kutaisi-Rioni (#6355/6356, #6353/6354)
  • Kutaisi-Batumi (#682/681, #684/683)
  • Batumi-Ozurgeti (#613/614)
