In occupied Abkhazia, the situation is still tense. At the protest against the investment agreement between Russia and Abkhazia, tear gas has been used against the participants, Telegram channel D News Abkhazia reports.
Before that, the participants of the rally broke down part of the fence with a car and entered the area adjacent to the “parliament” building. A clash took place between the participants of the rally and the representatives of the law enforcement agencies. The participants of the rally threatened them with eggs and bottles.
Today in the “Abkhaz parliament,” it was planned to ratify the investment agreement project between Sokhumi and Moscow. However, the so-called “deputies” did not approve the agenda and the session failed. The participants of the rally demand the “deputies” hold a meeting and vote once and for all against the project.
