In January-July 2024, Georgia’s foreign trade turnover reached $12.56 million, a 1.6% increase compared to the same period last year. Exports decreased by 1.4% (3.53 million USD), while imports rose by 2.9% (9.03 million USD).
“The negative trade balance in January-July 2024 amounted to 5,504.5 million USD amounted to 43.8 percent of the foreign trade turnover”, noted GEOSTAT.
