Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze held a farewell meeting with British Ambassador Mark Clayton, who completed his diplomatic mission in Georgia.
At the meeting, the PM and Ambassador stressed the Georgia-UK strategic partnership and the UK’s role in building Georgia’s state institutions.
The Georgian PM thanked the British Ambassador for their support and wished him success in his future endeavors.
This summer, the United Kingdom will have a new ambassador to Georgia – Mark Clayton will be replaced by Gareth Ward.
