Protest against draft law “On Foreign Influence” underway in Tbilisi

The participants of the ongoing protest in front of the Parliament of Georgia blocked the road on Rustaveli Avenue.

The participants of the rally are protesting the draft law “On transparency of foreign influence” and chanting: “No to the Russian regime”, “Long live the European Union”, “Long live Georgia”.

They claim that they will not stop protesting until the ruling party withdraws the mentioned bill.

The participants of the rally say they intend to march from Rustaveli Avenue to the House of Justice.

The organizer of the rally is the student movement “Dafion”, which says that their goal is to increase the charge among young people and further deepen their awareness of why the draft law on “transparency of foreign influence” is bad.
