The Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, Natia Turnava, today met with the representatives of the Federation of Business Leaders “Women for the Future”. Economic issues caused by the pandemic crisis were discussed at the meeting. The Minister briefed attendees on the planned reforms and talked about business support programs.

“Women for the Future” unites 70 women business representatives. It is noteworthy that the number of women participating in “Enterprise Georgia” is growing every year and already represents almost 50% of the participants.

The Minister noted that communication with business is very important for the Ministry of Sustainable Development.

“We often meet with various business associations and unions. Another such meeting was held with the Federation of Business Leaders, Women for the Future, which brings together about 70 businesswomen. It is always interesting to hear the views of business associations. As a result, we discussed the steps that will help them overcome the current challenges,” Turnava said.
