Georgian Railway to Schedule Additional Train to Batumi

Georgian Railway has reported that due to increased passenger flow, it is to schedule an additional train to Tbilisi-Batumi-Tbilisi direction.

Train will be added on December 28; 29; 30 and 31 – 2021 and January 2; 6; 9;  10 and 11 – 2022.

The train will depart from Tbilisi to Batumi at 10:30 and arrive in Batumi at 16:09, and the train will leave Batumi for Tbilisi at 18:20 and arrive in Tbilisi at 23:52.

Georgian Railway calls on passengers to obey the recommendations as follows: conductors will conduct thermoscreening of the passengers at the entrances of the wagons, passengers must pass the disinfection barrier and use disinfectant solution. Hand dispensers will be installed in all carriages. It is important that passengers know in advance that they should not show up for departure if they have symptoms of the virus.

Passengers without a face mask will not be allowed and they will not be able to remove the mask during travel.
