The health condition of a Covid patient injured in a car accident in Tbilisi is relatively satisfactory.
A 77-year-old patient was injured when he was being transported by an ambulance from Telavi to Tbilisi. The accident happened near the 300 Aragveli metro station late at night when an ambulance vehicle overturned on Ketevan Tsamebuli Avenue in Tbilisi.
“At this stage, the patient has a chest injury. The patient is Covid infected. The nurse was also injured and her condition is stable at this stage. The driver and the doctor are feeling well,” said Ani Dalakishvili, a doctor at the Ingorokva Clinic.
The incident is being investigated under Article 276 of the Criminal Code, announced the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia.
