WizzAir Resumes Regular Flights from Kutaisi Airport

“Wizz Air base has returned to Kutaisi International Airport,” announced Natia Turnava, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development.

The Minister noted that the Wizz Air will operate flights to six European cities from July, but in the coming months will expand the directions and soon return to the old mode.

As in statement published by the Ministry of Economy notes, at the first stage, due to the epidemiological situation and restrictions in European countries, by the end of the summer navigation season, direct flights from Kutaisi to Milan, Prague, Athens, Thessaloniki, Larnaca and Memmingen direct regular flights will be operating once a week.

In total, at this stage, it will be possible to get to Europe by direct flight from Kutaisi to 14 destinations in 9 countries.
