Maxim Raider, Ambassador-at-Large at Russia’s Foreign Ministry, said the Baltic states, Poland, the Netherlands and the Czech Republic are causing the greatest concern ahead of the State Duma elections. RIA Novosti reports.
He claimed that “clinical Russophobia” has infected a significant part of the ruling elites in those countries, adding that they provide “complete freedom” to supporters of Ukraine.
Raider also warned that provocations could take place at polling stations opened abroad, claiming that Ukrainian activists and their local supporters could stage demonstrations outside Russian diplomatic missions.
Russia’s State Duma elections will be held from September 18 to 20.
