Education is victory — a victory that begins with knowledge, opportunity and confidence in one’s own abilities. Guided by this vision, TBC, the main supporter of technology Olympiads in Georgia, works with its partners to create an environment where motivated young people from across the country can discover their potential, develop technological skills and represent Georgia on the international stage.

With TBC’s support, the Technology Olympiads Hub, established in partnership with the Business and Technology University (BTU), aims to identify talented students across Georgia, support their development and prepare them for international Olympiads. This year, more than 3,000 students took part in the Georgian Informatics Olympiad, demonstrating the growing interest among young people in technology and digital education.

“Education is victory! For us, this is more than just a message — it is an approach based on the belief that creating opportunities for young people means investing in the future of our country. We want every motivated student to have the opportunity to receive quality technology education, test their abilities and achieve success on the international stage through the knowledge and skills they gain in Georgia,” said Alexander Makashvili, TBC’s Strategic Projects Lead.

Through the Hub, Georgian students participate in major technology competitions across Europe and around the world. At the European Girls’ Olympiad in Informatics (EGOI), the Georgian team won one bronze medal and one honorable mention, while at the European Junior Olympiad in Informatics (EJOI), the team secured two bronze medals.

Georgia’s participation in the 3rd International Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence (IOAI 2026) was particularly successful. Georgian participants won two gold, three silver and two bronze medals, as well as one honorable mention.

With TBC’s support, Georgia’s AI team prepared for the international competition at the Technology Olympiads Hub through a specialized Olympiad training programme developed by the Georgian Artificial Intelligence Association (GAIA).

The Technology Olympiads Hub also supports Georgia’s participation in the International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI), one of the world’s most prestigious technology competitions.

TBC also supports a number of important educational initiatives aimed at fostering the development of the next generation in STEM fields. These include the robotics club of the Kutaisi Physics and Mathematics School and its team’s participation in the Fibonacci International Robotics Olympiad, Georgia’s national team competing at PLANCKS, the international physics competition for university students, and support for Georgian students participating in the GENIUS Olympiad.

This year, with TBC’s support, three Georgian students travelled to the GENIUS Olympiad, with two of them achieving international success by winning silver and bronze medals.

Through its support for technology and STEM education, TBC continues to contribute to the development of young talent in Georgia, helping motivated students access opportunities, strengthen their skills and compete successfully on the international stage.
