Public schools across Georgia will receive school textbooks in the coming days, with first-, fifth-, seventh-, ninth- and 10th-grade students set to study with new textbooks in the 2026-2027 academic year. The information was released by Educational Resources LLC.

According to the company, the printing and publication of new school textbooks for Georgia’s public schools is currently underway.

The textbook update for the 2026-2027 academic year covers grades I, V, VII, IX and X.

Under the 2026 consolidated tender initiated by Educational Resources LLC, the phased delivery of textbooks to public schools and educational resource centers will be completed no later than September 10.

The printing and distribution process covers 32 titles and a total of 1,533,339 copies, of which 1,340,044 copies will be delivered directly to public schools.

School textbooks will be provided free of charge to public school students and teachers, as well as to certain categories of private school students, including socially vulnerable families, children of soldiers killed in the August 2008 war and first-grade students.

Textbooks will also be provided free of charge to students and teachers at Georgian-language schools in the occupied territories of Akhalgori Municipality and to schools in and around the occupied Gali district.

“Educational Resources LLC will begin the phased delivery of school textbooks to schools across the country in the coming days,” the statement said.
