Preserving cultural heritage is not only about honoring the past—it is about reimagining it, bringing it to life, and passing it on to future generations. Guided by this vision, TBC Concept has launched Spring Will Come Again, a multifaceted cultural initiative dedicated to the life and work of acclaimed Georgian singer-songwriter Inola Gurgulia. Through the project, one of Georgia’s most distinctive musical voices has been reintroduced to contemporary audiences in innovative and engaging ways.

One of the project’s highlights is an original animated film inspired by Inola Gurgulia’s autobiographical writings and music. More than simply recounting her story, the animation breathes new life into her voice and artistic legacy, fulfilling the wish she once expressed herself: “Sing my songs so that I may live on.”

Developed by Windfor’s and brought to life by Pocket Studio, director Ana Chubinidze, and her creative team, the animation recreates Inola’s memories—her village, traditional Georgian house, personal room, cherished belongings, and the world that inspired her music. Every visual detail was meticulously reconstructed using archival photographs and family stories, resulting in a deeply personal work that invites viewers into the artist’s inner world.

As part of its commitment to preserving Inola Gurgulia’s artistic heritage, TBC Concept also supported the release of a unique seven-vinyl collection featuring 100 restored archival recordings. Many of these recordings have never before been available to the public. Carefully restored from rare magnetic tapes preserved by the artist’s family, the collection offers listeners an intimate opportunity to experience Inola’s voice and music as never before.

The project also celebrated Inola Gurgulia’s enduring influence through a tribute concert held on May 27, where musicians from different generations, alongside members of her family, performed her songs in fresh contemporary interpretations. The concert once again demonstrated that Inola Gurgulia’s work is not only an essential part of Georgia’s cultural heritage but also a living artistic legacy that continues to inspire new generations.

As part of the initiative, TBC Concept also gave new life to one of Inola Gurgulia’s most beloved songs, Swing (Sakanela), presenting it in a renewed interpretation. In addition, the project produced a series of short video stories featuring the artist’s family members, actors, musicians, and other prominent cultural figures reflecting on her life, music, and lasting influence. Together, these personal accounts offer audiences a deeper understanding of Inola Gurgulia’s remarkable legacy and the profound impact she has had on Georgian culture.

For many years, TBC Concept has consistently supported initiatives that preserve, promote, and reintroduce Georgia’s cultural heritage to new audiences. The project dedicated to Inola Gurgulia is another reflection of this long-term commitment—ensuring that the works of exceptional Georgian artists are not only preserved but continually rediscovered, allowing their voices to resonate for generations to come.
