With the support of TBC, construction is underway on Impel Verde, a new energy-efficient residential complex in Tbilisi. The project is being developed by Impel Development under the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development’s (EBRD) Green Economy Financing Facility (GEFF). TBC serves as the project’s key financial partner, providing GEL 20.5 million in financing.

Located in Varketili, one of Tbilisi’s rapidly developing districts, Impel Verde spans approximately 32,000 square meters. The development includes six residential buildings and commercial spaces, offering a modern living environment designed around sustainability and community well-being.

A defining feature of the project is its extensive recreational infrastructure. More than 10,000 square meters of the development will be dedicated to green and public spaces, including landscaped areas, sports and children’s playgrounds, a swimming pool, and other modern amenities for residents.

Energy efficiency is at the core of the Impel Verde concept. The developer is utilizing advanced energy-efficient and environmentally friendly construction materials that help maintain indoor temperatures and significantly reduce energy consumption. As a result, residents are expected to lower their utility costs by approximately 40–60%, while also reducing their environmental footprint.

Promoting energy efficiency and supporting green investments are among the key objectives of the EBRD’s Green Economy Financing Facility (GEFF). In Georgia, the program is implemented by the EBRD with the support of the Green Climate Fund and the Austrian Federal Ministry of Finance.

Under the initiative, up to USD 25 million has been allocated to support energy-efficient and environmentally sustainable investments across Georgia, contributing to the country’s transition toward a greener and more resilient economy.

Through partnerships such as Impel Verde, TBC continues to support sustainable urban development and the adoption of energy-efficient solutions that create long-term value for both residents and the environment.
