A Day at TBC: Campus Students Experience Real-World Work Environment

TBC Campus is an innovative and distinctive educational program designed to meet the growing curiosity, ambition, and drive for continuous development among young people.
The knowledge gained at TBC Campus helps students build careers in their chosen fields and successfully manage their own businesses in a competitive market. In just one year, the campus has brought together around 600 participants, 18% of whom are already successfully employed.
At the campus, students study professions that are both modern and in high demand—fields well known to the TBC team. TBC employees, together with other industry professionals, share their expertise and practical experience with participants. This collaboration inspired a new initiative — “One Day at TBC.”
As part of the initiative, 45 graduates of TBC Campus visited TBC on October 22, where they joined work processes related to their study fields, explored real projects, and met with team members. At the end of the day, they attended a workshop led by Medea Tabatadze on the topic “How to Prepare for the Job Market.”

AI and Future Skills – GAIA Meetups Horizons Kicks Off with TBC’s Support

With the support of TBC, the Georgian Artificial Intelligence Association (GAIA), in partnership with D Block, has launched a new series of gatherings — GAIA Meetups. The first event under the Meetups Horizons format took place on October 25.
The Meetups are held regularly and aim to raise awareness, inspire participants, and encourage the exchange of practical ideas on how AI technologies can be integrated into business — while helping individuals develop the right skills in an era of rapid change.
GAIA Meetups are organized in two formats — Tech and Horizons. The monthly Horizons meetings bring together professionals from various industries to discuss how AI is transforming their fields, how to use artificial intelligence more effectively in their work, and what new trends are emerging in AI.
At the first GAIA Meetups Horizons event, Medea Tabatadze, Managing Partner at InSource, spoke about the role of AI in the modern world, its impact on the labor market and professions, and the skills essential for future career and personal success.
“Artificial intelligence is not just a technological tool — it is a driver of change and opportunity that affects every sphere. It’s crucial for people to stay open to new knowledge and to develop the right skills in order to apply AI’s potential for both personal and professional growth. Meetups Horizons is designed exactly for that — to spark curiosity, raise awareness, and give participants a practical vision of the future,”
— Medea Tabatadze.
In collaboration with GAIA, TBC continues to support initiatives that promote accessibility to education, knowledge sharing, and the strengthening of the professional ecosystem in the fields of AI and data science.
In the world of artificial intelligence, what truly matters is to believe, explore, learn, and create new possibilities.
TBC Supports the Opening of Georgia’s Largest Olive Processing Plant in Dedoplistskaro

With the support of TBC, the largest olive processing plant in Georgia — Svanidze Olive Factory — has officially opened in Dedoplistskaro, on the Taribana Field. The facility has the capacity to process up to 150 tons of olives per day.
Out of the total 7-million-GEL project, TBC provided 5 million GEL in financing, which the company used for the construction of the plant and the purchase of modern equipment.
The new 2,400-square-meter factory will employ around 30 people permanently, with the number of employees increasing to 150 during the harvest season. The plant produces 100% natural olive oil and marinades, which will be sold on the local market, with export planned for the near future. Built with cutting-edge technology, the facility is equipped with state-of-the-art German and Italian production systems from world-leading brands.
TBC and Svanidze Holding have been actively cooperating since 2023. Under the partnership, 108 hectares of olive groves have been planted, and this area is expected to expand beyond 300 hectares. The collaboration also covers financing for the maintenance of 900 hectares of olive groves and the acquisition of agricultural machinery.
“Olive cultivation is a new direction for Georgia. We are proud that TBC was among the first to recognize the potential of this sector and support its development. This initiative strengthens both local production and export potential. I am confident that the Svanidze Olive plant will make a significant contribution to the sector’s growth, help create new jobs, and promote the use of modern technologies in agriculture. Supporting agribusiness — especially export-oriented products — remains a key priority for TBC. Over the past three years, our agricultural portfolio has grown by 38%, or 330 million GEL, reaching a total of 1.2 billion GEL,” said Giorgi Darchiashvili, Director of the Large and Medium Corporate Clients Department at TBC.
“This plant is not just a production space — it is a showcase of Georgia’s potential to produce high-quality, eco-friendly products using innovative technologies and sustainable energy. The factory operates entirely on wood-based energy and will process olives not only from Svanidze’s own orchards but also from farmers across Georgia. Our goal is to position Georgia as one of the leading olive producers on the global map,” said Giorgi Svanidze, Founder of Svanidze Olive.
Kpax — A Creative Force in Branded Products, Grown with TBC Business Support

Kpax is an advertising company that creates original and high-quality branded products for Georgian businesses.
“The company’s goal is to help businesses bring their brand to life through tangible, useful, and memorable items,” says Irakli Tskitishvili, co-founder of Kpax.
The company’s story began in 2018. Having worked in the advertising field for many years, Irakli had gained extensive experience across various teams and had a clear vision of what the local market lacked — flexibility, boldness, and individuality. This vision became the foundation of Kpax.
“My colleague, Teona Altunashvili, and I shared the same aspiration and outlook. Once we realized that, we decided to establish Kpax together. Then and now, our mission remains unchanged — every branded product should reflect the brand’s true character.”
Kpax offers a full production cycle — from sourcing and importing items to final branding. The company imports products from China, several European countries, and Turkey, transforming them into personalized, standard-compliant items for Georgian brands.
Although competition in this market is intense, Kpax stands out by offering both a wide catalog and the ability to create fully custom-made designs in collaboration with partner factories in China. This means the company can co-develop unique products with clients — distinguished by their shape, color, function, and detail.
The company started its operations using its own financial resources, but by 2019, it became clear that additional funding was needed.
“TBC has played a major role in Kpax’s growth. Since we don’t require full prepayment from clients, we approached TBC in 2019 for a credit line to gain more financial flexibility. TBC approved our request right away and provided the necessary support. We’ve now been working with them for seven years, and this partnership has been essential for the smooth operation of our company,” says Irakli.
The success of Kpax is not based solely on flexible pricing or broad supply capabilities. The company’s strength lies in a combination of three key factors — diverse product range, strict quality control, and creative branding — that together define its distinctive place in the market.
