
Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, the world’s largest hotel franchising company by the number of properties, with approximately 9,300 hotels across over 95 countries on six continents, hosted its Commercial Workshop on the 28th of March in Tbilisi, Georgia. The event, held at the flagship Wyndham Grand Tbilisi property in the heart of the city, saw regional teams, travel partners and industry leaders come together for collaboration, innovation and to foster a collective vision of growth and meaningful partnerships across the Georgian market.
Uniting regional teams for collaborative conversations
Over 40 guests representing various travel companies, including travel agencies, Destination Management Company’s (DMC), Travel Management Company’s (TMC) and tour operators were in attendance. In addition, all General Managers and Sales Leaders in Wyndham’s seven hotels in Georgia and Wyndham’s Regional Commercial and Operations teams participated, creating an invaluable platform for collaboration. The workshop included a panel discussion which offered the opportunity for travel companies to connect directly with the General Managers and Sales Leaders from Wyndham hotels in Georgia, discussing key topics crucial for increasing group and FIT (Free Independent Traveller) production. New networks, innovative ideas and a collective vision emerged from the event including a diversified outlook on key inbound markets, the extended stay segment as well as destination weddings. The event concluded with a fantastic lunch, showcasing Wyndham Grand Tbilisi’s exceptional food and beverage, leaving everyone inspired and excited for future opportunities.
