Information has spread that the voting process has been halted at the 69th polling station in Marneuli, after all the ballots were put in a ballot box.
“Voting has been suspended, the District Election Commission has given an order,” stated CEC representative Jacob Asanidze.
The issue arose from a video published by Eka Gigauri, the executive director of Transparency International Georgia, which went viral across social media platforms, showing an individual identified holding multiple ballots, throwing them into a transparent ballot box.
