The United States and Israel have carried out another round of airstrikes targeting Iran, including the capital, Tehran, and several other cities. In response, Iran launched missile attacks toward central Israel, marking a continued escalation in hostilities.
One of the key targets of the strikes was Iran’s Isfahan province. Videos circulating on social media showed powerful explosions across the area. A clip of the attack was also shared without comment by US President Donald Trump on his Truth Social account.
Local authorities in Isfahan confirmed that US and Israeli fighter jets struck military facilities, though further details were not disclosed. According to a source cited by The Wall Street Journal, US forces used bunker-busting bombs to target an ammunition depot in the province.
On March 31, the Israel Defense Forces also announced additional strikes on military targets in Tehran. Footage released by Iran’s Red Crescent showed a destroyed building in what the organization described as a residential area.
Mehr News Agency reported that at least 11 people, including three children, were killed in a missile strike in the city of Mahalat, south of Tehran. Iran’s state news agency Islamic Republic News Agency reported that three people were killed and 12 injured after a strike hit the administrative building of a mosque in Zanjan.
Meanwhile, Iran’s armed forces launched another missile attack on Israel later the same day. Emergency services reported that eight people were injured in central Israel.
