Transparency International Georgia shared information regarding their status during the upcoming October 26 elections via Facebook. The Anti-Corruption Bureau reported on October 4 that it had decided against the initial classification of the organization and its executive director, Eka Gigauri.
The revocation means that TI Georgia can fully observe the elections without limitations. The statement reveals that TI Georgia will monitor this year’s elections without impediments, as there are no legal obligations imposed on the institution.
