Tbilisi City Council: Tbilisi budget increases by 241 million GEL

According to Tbilisi City Council, Tbilisi budget increases by 241 million GEL.

“At the session of the Tbilisi City Council, they discussed the change in the budget of the Tbilisi for 2024, according to which the volume of the budget of Tbilisi increased by 241,034.9 thousand GEL and amounted to 2,004,389.6 thousand GEL.

Changes were made to the budget by January 1, 2024, taking into account the use of the balances (200,034.9 thousand GEL) on the budget accounts of Tbilisi Municipality and the expected forecasts for the current year, sanctions (fines) increased by 10,000.0 thousand GEL and revenues from cultural heritage to promote the rehabilitation/replacement of damaged buildings in the protective zone – 16,000.0 thousand GEL, and income from the decrease of non-financial assets – in the amount of 15,000.0 thousand GEL (including from the sale of residential buildings – 5,000.0 thousand GEL, from non-produced assets (land) – 10,000.0 thousand GEL)”, Tbilisi City Council noted.
