With the support of TBC Bank, Georgia’s National Artificial Intelligence Olympiad is launching for the second consecutive year, reinforcing the company’s commitment to advancing tech education and empowering the next generation of innovators.

Organized by the Georgian Artificial Intelligence Association, the 2026 National AI Olympiad will begin with its first round on May 16. Students in grades VIII–XII from across Georgia are eligible to participate. Registration is already open and will continue through May 14.

The Olympiad will be held in two stages. The first round will take place online, after which up to 30 top-performing students will advance to the final stage. The final round will be hosted on May 31 at Business and Technology University (BTU), where Georgia’s national AI team will be selected.

The winning students will represent Georgia at the International Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence, which will take place in Astana, Kazakhstan, from August 2–8, 2026.

Georgia made its debut at the international AI Olympiad in 2025 and achieved significant success in its very first year, with members of the national team earning the country’s first medal in the competition. The achievement once again highlighted the importance of tech education and the need to create more international opportunities for young talent.

To help students prepare for the competition, the Georgian Artificial Intelligence Association launched the AI League and a dedicated Olympiad-focused AI course, both available to all interested students.

The National AI Olympiad is part of the Georgian Tech Olympiads Hub, established through the partnership of TBC Bank and Business and Technology University. The initiative aims to develop young people’s knowledge and practical skills in artificial intelligence, identify talented students, and prepare them for international competitions.

“Education creates opportunities — the key is to believe in them.” Guided by this vision, TBC Bank continues to support technology Olympiads and strengthen the next generation with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed on the global stage.
