Starbucks is set to enter the Georgian market, with its first store scheduled to open in summer 2026 in Tbilisi.

The outlet will be located in Axis Towers on Ilia Chavchavadze Avenue. The brand plans to expand to other locations in Tbilisi and across Georgia in the coming months.

Starbucks will operate in Georgia in partnership with Alshaya Group, one of its largest licensed partners globally.

The entry of the brand was supported by Georgian government institutions, including the Enterprise Georgia, as well as the Ministries of Economy and Foreign Affairs and Georgian diplomatic missions abroad.

Officials say the project is expected to contribute to job creation and attract further investment.

Alshaya Group, which manages Starbucks operations across Turkey, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, and the Middle East, currently operates more than 800 stores in Eurasia and around 2,000 stores across 13 markets.

Founded in 1971, Starbucks operates more than 40,000 locations worldwide.
