The Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia Shalva Papuashvili met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine Ihor Dolhov.
The Ambassador provided the Speaker of the Parliament with detailed information on the current events in Ukraine. The importance of effective and resilient response and coordinated cooperation from the international community was emphasized.
As Papuashvili notes, Georgia strongly supports the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. He added the Georgian nation stands by the brotherly Ukrainian people.
Ihor Dolhov thanked the Speaker of Parliament for his support.
