Former deputy head of State Security Service, Soso Gogashvili, refuses to attend court proceedings. Soso Gogashvili addresses Giorgi Gelashvili, the judge of Tbilisi City Court.
“I am illegally detained because of Bidzina Ivanishvili’s instructions. My case is completely based on fake and falsified “evidence”, which was planted on the night of July 16 in my house, 91 Avto Varazi St., Tbilisi. My detention was carried out illegally and violently, and my family members were also abused. The court did not consider any of the facts cited by us and did not even change the restraining order. I am not going to participate in this staged “masquerade” which is portrayed as a court and is run and directed according to Ivanishvili’s directives. I have more than enough evidence on this, which I will make public in the coming days.
„Also, my movement from Rustavi prison to the court involves great risks for life and safety, therefore I refuse to attend court proceedings.
