The Defense and Security Committee discussed the Draft Law on Personal Data Protection and the Draft Law on Military Duty and Military Service, introduced by the Chair of the Human Rights and Civil Integration Committee, Mikheil Sarjveladze.
As speaker’s explained, with the changes, a new group of persons will be added to the category of persons who are exempted from military service. In particular, a conscript or mobilization reservist, whose capacity limitation status has expired, is exempted from being drafted into military service during the status verification period, however, for no more than 3 months.
The Committee approved the Drafts.
