Former President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili has published a letter from the Gori Military Hospital stating that the SSSG is actively spreading rumors that he will be sent back to prison from Gori.
“These days, SSSG is actively spreading rumors that I will be sent back to prison from Gori, despite the fact that doctors are categorically against it.
“All this is done, firstly, to blackmail me and our activists, and secondly, to divert attention and gain time for the regime to breathe. This is also served by the completely illegal and ridiculous summoning of Nika Melia to the SUS. Nika answered very correctly and with dignity.
“I want to tell Ivanishvili, you can take me where you want to – I have already been through torture and inhuman treatment and you can no longer surprise me.
“In the coming days, the fight will intensify and will not stop until your defeat. Or if you come to your senses and come to a national reconciliation before it’s too late, this is the best solution for everyone!” reads the letter.
