Saakashvili: Despite my condition, I intend to be very actively involved in Georgian politics

Despite my health condition, I intend to be very actively involved in Georgian politics, the third president of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili, writes in the social media.

According to Saakashvili, the statements made yesterday, on June 15, at the session held in the Supreme Council of Ajara were the “last straw” for him.

In addition, as he says, he will attend all court proceedings where he can physically manage.

“The last straw was the parade of traitors that I saw yesterday in the Supreme Council of Ajara. The betrayal of Georgia and the attempt of Russification have already penetrated all levels. Despite my health condition, I intend to be very actively involved in Georgian politics, parallel to my involvement in Ukraine.

We should not wait for the victory of Ukraine, but actively bring it closer, including through our innovative and courageous actions. From today I intend to participate in all court proceedings where I will manage it physically.

Also, as always, I call on all national, anti-Russian European forces to unite, including, first of all, the party I founded, National Movement,” Saakashvili writes.
