Remote Services of COVID-19 Management Strengthened

By decision of the Minister of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labor, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia, Zurab Azarashvili remote services of COVID-19 management are being strengthened.

For this purpose, the number of employees of Central Online Clinic (15-22), the hotline of the Ministry (15-05) and family doctors involved in the program is increasing.

60 specialists (30 physicians and 30 operators) will be added to Central Online Clinic. The hotline will be empowered by adding of 30 operators. According to the decision, the number of primary health care facilities involved in remote management is increasing from 60 to 100.

Before involvement in this program, employees of Central Online Clinic and the hotline are gradually re-trained. After completion of the training they will be fully engaged in remote management services.
