The National Center for Assessment and Examinations has officially opened registration for the 2026 Unified National Examinations (UNEs) for high school graduates and the General Master’s Examinations for prospective graduate students. Candidates can complete their registration online until May 11, 2026, at 18:00.

Applicants must pay the fee for at least one subject between April 6, 10:00, and May 6, 18:00 to finalize their registration. During this period, candidates may also:

  • Pay for additional subjects
  • Select or change examination cities
  • Choose or modify educational programs

The subject fee for the Unified National Examinations is GEL 10 per subject, while participation in the General Master’s Examination costs GEL 50 per candidate. Payments can be made via Bank of Georgia’s platforms, including bogpay.ge, ibank.ge, the mBank mobile app and self-service terminals.

Under the ongoing higher education reform, applicants can now choose both higher education and professional education programs. The registration portal categorizes programs into three groups:

  1. Bachelor’s Programs – candidates must select this field to enroll in undergraduate studies.
  2. Professional Programs – optional additional choice for those interested in vocational education.
  3. Preparatory Programs in Georgian – one-year programs for language and foundational preparation.

Applicants must rank their selected programs by priority as admission preference is given to the program listed first in the application. Changes, deletions or additions to program choices are allowed until 18:00 the day after appeal results are published. The portal also allows candidates to monitor competition status for each selected program.

As part of the reform, all students admitted to state higher education institutions, including bachelor’s, master’s and professional programs, receive full government funding. Additionally, the government provides funding for priority programs at private professional institutions.

The National Center for Assessment and Examinations instructs applicants to review the comprehensive information provided in the official ‘Applicant Guide’.
