President: Evicting people in winter is prohibited in all European countries!

Eviction of people in winter is prohibited in all European countries! – President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili wrote about on social media.

The President responded to the eviction process from a residential building on Kekelidze Street, Tbilisi, where the arrival of Enforcement Bureau employees had caused a scandal.

“Evicting people in winter is prohibited in all European countries! Human rights and European values are everything!” President Zurabishvili wrote.

The police are still trying to enter the residence on Kekelidze Street, but the iron door to the entrance has been welded shut.

Supporters of the family have gathered at the site, preventing the representatives of the National Bureau of Enforcement from starting the process of evicting the family from the house.

The family’s relatives say the law enforcement officers have already removed several people from the site.
