The whole society is being provoked to aggravation, all initiated laws serve this purpose, be it provocative LGBT [propaganda] or the introduction of the Russian law for the second time, – said the President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili at a briefing today.
The president noted that it is a challenge for the societies and partners who gave Georgia the EU candidate status in advance.
“What is the purpose of this challenge? To cause chaos, destabilize, and baptize everyone as a radical, a foreign agent, a supporter of the war party and so on. These are very well-known tactics, some of us have gone through them many years ago. It’s nothing new. Society is prepared for it. No one can divert it from its path”, said the President.
Georgian Dream, one year on since the “Russian Law” was dropped, is returning the “Russian Law” bill to parliament.
