The Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Garibashvili, spoke about the anniversary of the war in Ukraine, noting that the war that Russia has started is completely unjustified.
“From the very first days of the beginning of the war, the Georgian people stood by the Ukrainian people. We hosted thousands of Ukrainians in Georgia, we found maximum support for our Ukrainian sisters and brothers. We were co-sponsor of the UN resolution, and also, on my behalf, the foreign minister is now in New York, where he himself participated in an event within the framework of the UN assembly dedicated to the war in Ukraine, the anniversary of the war.
We once again expressed our solidarity, and confirmed our position, we support the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine. We want this war to end as soon as possible and restore peace. This is our main message,” Garibashvili said.
