Irakli Garibashvili, Prime Minister of Georgia participated in a round-table thematic discussion On Security held by the European Political Community (EPC).
Thematic Discussion was co-chaired by the prime ministers of the United Kingdom (UK) and Poland.
The leaders discussed the specific steps and efforts to be taken to ensure peace and stability on the continent of Europe.
A topic related to Georgia was actively included in the discussions. Garibashvili spoke about the significance of granting Georgia the status of EU Candidate Country, and current challenges to security in the region with the leaders of European states.
The round-table discussion also engaged Roberta Metsola, President of the European Parliament; Karl Nehammer, Federal Chancellor of the Republic of Austria; Petr Fiala, Prime Minister of the Czech Republic; Gitanas Nausėda, President of the Republic of Lietuva; Xavier Bettel, Prime Minister of Luxembourg; Ľudovít Ódor, Interim Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovakia; Ulf Kristersson, Prime Minister of Sweden and Vjosa Osmani-Sadriu, President of Kosovo.
