Today, on September 29, the Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili is to visit Azerbaijan.
The Prime Minister in Baku will meet with the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev at the Zagulba Palace.
Ilham Aliyev will host Irakli Garibashvili at a working dinner with the members of the delegation.
The meeting of the Intergovernmental Economic Commission chaired by the Prime Ministers of Georgia and the Republic of Azerbaijan will be held, after which memorandums of cooperation will be signed.
The Georgian delegation, led by the Prime Minister, includes Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs Davit Zalkaliani, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Natia Turnava, and Head of the Government Administration Ilia Darchiashvili.
The Prime Minister spoke about Ilham Aliyev on “Imedi” TV and said: “We have a good relationship and, most importantly, have trust. When there is trust between countries and leaders, I think all issues will be resolved accordingly. I have a similar relationship with Mr. Pashinyan. I plan to visit Armenia in the near future. I will do as much as possible in this direction and play a useful role between the two countries.”
