The Personal Data Protection Service has started examining the issue of publicizing the footage showing the former president of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili.
The relevant statement has been issued by the Personal Data Protection Service.
“On December 14, 2022, the Special Penitentiary Service made public video recordings showing Mikheil Saakashvili placed in a medical facility.
“The Personal Data Protection Service started to study the processing of Mikheil Saakashvili’s personal data through the release of video recordings by the Special Penitentiary Service.
“The Personal Data Protection Service will study this issue within the time frame set by the law and will inform the public about the results,” reads the statement.
