Members of the parliamentary opposition met with representatives of non-governmental organizations, where the issue of fulfilling the 12 points established by the European Union was discussed.
As Giorgi Vashadze, a member of the Reforms Group noted it was decided at the meeting that the meetings of the working groups in the Parliament will start from Monday on the topic of the 12 points.
“We agreed with the civil sector on a specific work process. Regarding 12 issues, specific legislative projects and acts should be concluded, which will be in full compliance with the recommendations of the Europeans. We have very little time for that. We need to work 24/7 with many lawyers, organizations, parties, and politicians to jointly register a wide range of draft laws in the Parliament by September, the adoption of which will depend on the granting of EU candidate status,” Vashadze said.
