Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze announced that Paata Salia has been appointed as Georgia’s new Minister of Justice during a briefing at the Government Administration.
Kobakhidze extended his best wishes to newly appointed officials, including Grigol Liluashvili and Anri Okhanashvili, as they take on their respective roles.
Kobakhidze stated that Salia is widely regarded as one of Georgia’s most accomplished legal professionals.
“Paata Salia will assume the role of Minister of Justice. He is well-known in legal circles and requires no formal introduction. A sitting Member of Parliament, he has built a reputation as one of the most successful lawyers in the country. His legal education spans both Georgia and the United States,” Kobakhidze said.
