Nikoloz Basilashvili has made it through to the eighth final of the Tokyo Olympics.
The Georgian tennis player competed against Italian Lorenzo Sonego. The match ended with results 6: 4, 3: 6, 6: 4. Basilashvili defeated Sonego.
Nikoloz Basilashvili will compete against German tennis player Alexander Zverev in the eighth final. The match will be held on July 28.
On July 23, in the capital of Japan, Tokyo, XXXII Summer Olympic Games started. The Olympic Games will end on August 8. 34 sportsmen from Georgia will compete in 11 sports.
