A Memorandum of Cooperation has been signed between ASB Georgia, its partner organization SSK, and the municipalities of Tsalenjikha and Senaki, marking a new step in the fight against gender-based violence in the Samegrelo region.
The partnership aims to support local efforts to raise awareness and prevent violence against women and girls through joint initiatives and community engagement.
This collaboration is part of the broader project “Reducing Inequality and Supporting Empowerment for Women in Crises,” which is being implemented across Western Georgia with the support of local and international partners. The project is funded by the Republic of Austria, represented by the Federal Minister of Social Affairs, Health, Care, and Consumer Protection.
The newly signed memorandum underlines a shared commitment to promoting gender equality, strengthening support networks for women and girls, and addressing systemic challenges in vulnerable communities.
