The Chair of the Human Rights and Civil Integration Committee, Mikheil Sarjveladze congratulated the Georgian population on Constitution Day.
“I congratulate Georgia on the Constitution Day of 1921, which is a very important day for the history of our country. The role of this document is special as in the political, so in the legal terms and legal quality,” he stated.
This document was one of the model legal acts for the then civilized world, which provided many foundational, progressive ideas and was a good model.
“I am glad that after the restoration of independence of Georgia, the Constitution and the whole legal order was based on the traditions established under the Constitution of February 21, 1921,” he added.
