Michael Gahler on Attacks on civilians: Back in the USSR

The only song that comes to my mind when I see such crimes happening is: Back in the USSR, – this is how MEP Michael Gahler responded to last night’s attacks in Tbilisi.

He claims that it is not yet too late to react in Georgia through a united coordinated civic movement.

“It is not yet too late to react in Georgia through a united coordinated civic movement that will eventually result in a political platform that stands for election as alternative to GD”, he tweeted.

Overnight, several civil activists who participate in anti “Russian Law” protests were attacked and injured. Among them, a brother of Zurab Japaridze, the leader of Girchi-More Freedom, Gia Japaridze and Dimitri Chikovani, a member of the National Movement.
