The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported the employees of the Kakheti Police Department, as a result of operative search measures and investigative activities, detained T.G. (DoB 2000) for premeditated murder against a family member.
The committed crime envisions from 16 to 20 years or life imprisonment.
As noted in the report, the investigation established that the defendant, under the influence of alcohol, inflicted fatal wound in the throat area to his wife, M.G. (DoB 1996 in Telavi and fled from the scene.
Law enforcement officers arrested the accused person as a result of immediate activities.
The investigation into the fact of the premeditated murder of a family member is being conducted under Article 11(1)-109 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
