Representatives of the media held a protest performance today, July 13, at the Government Administration.
At the briefing held after the meeting of the Interagency Coordination Council, journalists and cameramen presented themselves at the Government tribune with photos of the deceased cameraman of TV Pirveli, Lekso Lashkarava, and sheets with the captions “Irakli Garibashvili should resign,” “Criminals should be punished.”
The protest of the media representatives lasted one minute, after which Tamar Gabunia, the Deputy Minister of Health, started the briefing. Gabunia, on behalf of the Ministry of Health, expressed her deep sorrow over the death of Lekso Lashkarava.
