A member of the political party Citizens and a candidate for Public Defender, Levan Ioseliani stated that he hopes he will be able to be a consensus figure in the parliament around whom more than 90 votes will be gathered.
“If their main, biggest accusation is that my persona is related to Georgian Dream by some links, it means that they have no argument against me being objective and impartial,” Ioseliani said.
He called on everyone to put his statement in the specific rights field, where his position was not on the side of the violated rights or contained a discriminatory position in any way.
“I understand that it will not be possible to please everyone, because there are different political groups with different goals. Despite this, I hope that I will be able to be a consensus figure in the parliament, around whom more than 90 votes will be gathered,” Ioseliani said.
