The National Bank of Georgia (NBG) released updated exchange rates, illustrating mixed performance of the Georgian lari (GEL) against major foreign currencies.
The lari appreciated by 0.89 tetri against the British pound, bringing the official exchange rate for GBP to GEL 3.7287. Meanwhile, the local currency weakened slightly against the euro, losing 0.28 tetri. As a result, one euro now stands at GEL 3.1910.
When it comes to the U.S. dollar, the lari saw a minor gain of 0.09 tetri, with the official exchange rate set at GEL 2.7227.
As for regional currencies, the Turkish lira is valued at GEL 0.0684.
