Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze visited Adjara to assess recovery efforts following severe weather, pointing out alleged progress in clearing roads and restoring essential services.
“The most critical challenges were in Batumi, Kobuleti, and Khelvachauri, but due to continuous efforts, roads have been largely cleared,” Kobakhidze stated.
He thanked the Adjara government and emergency services for their quick response. While Adjara is stabilizing, he mentioned that Guria remains the the most affected region. “Electricity supply is nearly fully restored, with only minor local outages expected to be resolved by tomorrow,” he added.
