“Mikheil Saakashvili is not in Batumi, his video is not recorded in Georgia, this is what I can tell you precisely,” said Irakli Kobakhidze, Chairman of the Georgian Dream.
“We know that there are internal controversies and there is a struggle over who’s name will be attached to the 25% that the UNM party can take. There is internal conflict and the masquerade we see is the result of this internal fight.
“Mikheil Saakashvili is not in Georgia, I tell you once again,” Kobakhidze said. “Maybe this is bad – when people heard that this ‘clown’ was in Georgia, our supporters became more mobilized, but unfortunately, Saakashvili is not in Georgia. Catching this clown will take a while, but the law will be enforced in the end.”
The Chairman of the Georgian Dream is firmly convinced that Saakashvili is not in Georgia and calls on the public to remain calm, saying that in order for this clownery to end, the National Movement should not even receive 25%.
“As for the video, at first we thought it was Deep Fake technology, but in the end, it turned out to be a much simpler technology. It is easy to shoot, our experts are working on it and they will answer you very easily. It is a very simple ‘fake,’ which does not surprise anyone from Mikheil Saakashvili,” Kobakhidze said.
